pHonestly I just never realised so many years amp; OS#39;s had passed when I tried to do a simple ghost of a friends PC before it had some work done./p pUsing the Iomega firewire/usb drive amp; software with ghost 2003 I ran the ghost program to do the usual (or it was when I last did it./p pThe machine said it needed to restart in dos etc amp; off it went, but rather than start the dos client it just sat there saying nbsp;the previous operation had failed with the option to return to windows. but it doesnt return it just sits there./p pSo its stuck, not booting the partition I want, I cant get into the recovery partiton amp; he never created the restore disks when he got the machine./p pI know the drive is intact, but having jumped from the IT treadmill at the release of Vista, I just dont know what to do, all the old Fdisk era programs wont help.nbsp;/p pI can see the partitions using Ubuntu amp; the demo version of active disk (PE disk a like)/p pnbsp;/p pSo can anyone point me in the right direction, please/p div class=og_rss_groups/div
