Symantec endpoint manager client not getting update
p dear sir i am purchage symantec endpoint manager 11.0.5 for 300 user (12*25) but and i has installed symantec manager server in data center in and 150 user are getting update properly those are have local center in LAN but 150 user are not getting a updates those are behindnbsp; of Firewall andnbsp; both bulidling#39;s are connectnbsp; over Routing Protocal on Router.

The Round robin is activated by default on the Windows DNS.If you put 2 record with the same name but differnet IP address in your DNS, all your protected server will be alternatively resolved with the backup adapter !The only way i found to make it work is to maintain Host file on the DPM Server with the Name and backup IP address of all protected server to short cut dns resolution.On the protected server, you have to deploy a host file with the name and Backup IP address of the DPM server.

pI had issues with my Backup Exec server and had to install a new scsi card and cable.nbsp; Backups with new tapes are now working.nbsp; I need to do a restore from a tape that was created before the scsi card was replaced.nbsp; First it asked for the tape to be imported.nbsp; That worked fine.nbsp; But the restore sat in a queue for hours.nbsp; so then, after reading other forums, I decided to inventory the tape.nbsp; That worked fine.nbsp; Same problem.nbsp; I rebooted both the VXA Packetloader/tape drive and the server.nbsp; Same problem.nbsp; I again needed to import the tape.nbsp; That worked fine.nbsp; I again tried inventorying the tape.nbsp; Now the tape reads as cleaning media.nbsp; I really need to restore from this tape.nbsp; Any suggestions?/p div class=og_rss_groups/div
